Description

American semi-automatic carbine from World War II. The M1 carbine was an individual semi-automatic weapon (M2 automatic and semi-automatic). Principle of operation based on the use of energy of powder gases discharged through the side hole of the barrel (gases taken through the hole located just behind the cartridge chamber).

Lock bolted by turning. Trigger mechanism for single fire only (M2 version with a switch of fire type enabled firing in series). Powered from 15 rounds magazines.
