Description

Czechoslovak machine gun, improved version of the RKM ZB vz.26 equipped with a modified gas mechanism with a gas regulator.

The ZB-30 was in the inter-war period armed by the Czechoslovak army, it was also licensed in Yugoslavia (ZB-30J), and its version ZGB-30 caliber .303 British was one of Brena’s prototypes. After the occupation of Czechoslovakia by the Third Reich, ZB-30 found its way to the Wehrmacht and Waffen-SS armaments under the designation Maschinengewehr 30.
